This strap is hand crafted from Tochigi Japanese vegetable tanned leather. It features a polished stainless steel buckle, minimal whip-stitch construction, one fixed and one floating keeper, burnished edges, and is hand stitched with Ecru French Lin Cable, widely regarded as the best waxed linen thread available.

These straps are 2mm thick.

Founded in 1937, in the Tochigi prefecture of Japan, The Tochigi tannery produces the best glazed vegetable tanned leather in the world. This leather is of a nice firm temper, is super tough, and resilient. It acquires a great patina, being a veg-tanned leather, but doesn't stain as easily as most veg-tanned leathers because of its smooth, shiny, glazed finish.

Standard Straps Come with 5 holes, spaced 6mm apart, starting 32mm from the tip.
